Peyton Souhrada represented Cornell on the 2024 All-Midwest Conference Softball First Team, as announced Saturday at the conclusion of the MWC Tournament.
The Rams fielded a pair of second team selections in junior outfielder
Addie Bowman and first-year infielder
Elise Oleson.
Keith garnered first team accolades at catcher for the third consecutive season, becoming the sixth Ram in program history to achieve that feat. Souhrada earned first team status for the second year in a row.
Keith joined Cornell's 100-hit club this spring, posting a .330 batting average with eight doubles and a team-high 21 RBIs in the regular season. The cleanup hitter totaled eight multi-hit games and climbed to No. 8 on Cornell's career list for RBIs with 71.
Souhrada ranked among the MWC leaders in on-base percentage (.505, fourth), batting average (.416, seventh), slugging percentage (.584, eighth), doubles (10, eighth) and walks (16, eighth). The left-handed slugger scored a team-high 24 runs and drove in 16. Souhrada entered the MWC Tournament having reached base safely in 14 consecutive games.
Bowman was a repeat selection on the second team. She batted at a .421 clip in MWC play with 15 RBIs, ranking 10th in the league. Bowman tallied 20 runs and 20 RBIs in the regular season. She finished fourth in the MWC with 13 stolen bases in 15 attempts.
Oleson made an impact at first base in her rookie season with the Rams. She posted a .368 batting average and .559 slugging percentage in 26 regular-season games. Oleson had eight doubles, 19 RBIs and led the Rams with 128 putouts in the field.

Jackie Yoder's Rams made their second straight appearance in this weekend's MWC Tournament. Cornell finished 16-19 overall and took fourth in the MWC race with a 10-6 mark.
