MOUNT VERNON – Cornell hosted its first-ever women's wrestling tournament at Saturday's Cliff Keen-Mike Duroe Invitational in the arena of the Small Athletic and Wellness Center.
The Rams had nine individuals compete in the 13-team events, which featured three nationally-ranked programs.

Boston Jacobs' young squad landed a pair of placewinners in first-year
Milar Little at 110 pounds and first-year
Maddie Pulis at 180.
Little opened her day with a pin in 3:38 and wound up placing sixth in her bracket.
Pulis finished seventh with a 2-2 record. In the consolation rounds, she scored a 10-0 technical fall and defeated Central Methodist's Elle Pickett, 10-6, in the seventh-place match.

Sydney Newberg (160) each posted one victory at their respective weights.
