MOUNT VERNON – Cornell has landed three players on the
2025 All-Midwest Conference Football Teams, headlined by first team defensive end
Julius Jenkins.
Jenkins, a junior, was among five defensive linemen selected to the league's top unit. He is Cornell's first defensive lineman to garner first team all-conference accolades since 2017 (Andrew Joseph).
Coach
Curt Ritchie's Rams fielded a pair of second team honorees in senior wide receiver
Gavin Soukup and junior safety
Joshua Martin.
Jenkins was disruptive on Cornell's defensive front with 9.5 tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks – both team-highs – in nine games. He finished fourth on the team with 49 tackles, including 23 solo stops.
Jenkins earned D3football.com Team of the Week honors Sept. 16, following a massive performance against MWC foe Chicago in which he tallied 14 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks.
