CHICAGO, Ill. – Cornell men's lacrosse traveled to Illinois Tech on Saturday looking to move up in the NACC standing, improving their chance of making the year end conference tournament. The Scarlet Hawks (7-6, 6-2 NACC) proved to be to much, as the Rams fell 8-3 at Stuart Field.
Cornell (5-8, 2-6 NACC) took an early 2-0 lead on a

th goal of the year. Norwood's goal was assisted by
Tyler Foster.
The Scarlet Hawks reeled off six unanswered goals before Sophomore
Tyler Foster found the net at the 4:07 mark of the third period. Sophomore
Charley Kobets picked up his 10
th assist of the year on Foster's goal.
Defensively for the Rams, Foster had three caused turnovers.
Ben Schwartz and Greiskalns each had two. Senior
Torii Greiskalns picked up eight ground balls. Schwartz and
Ash Hoelscher each had three.
Goalie
Thomas Cook had 20 saves on 28 shots on goal by Illinois Tech, he also picked up a team high 10 ground balls.
Coming up – The Rams return home Wednesday to face Edgewood in a NACC matchup. Game time is 7:00 p.m. at Van Metre Field at Ash Park.
