MOUNT VERNON – Cornell has landed five student-athletes on the
2025 NCAA Division III Academic All-District Softball Team, selected by the College Sports Communicators.
Senior outfielder
Addie Bowman (studio art, economics and business) gained all-district accolades for the third consecutive year, while senior pitcher
Hannah Rhoades (elementary education) and junior outfielder
Peyton Souhrada (studio art) earned the distinction for the second time.
Sophomore pitcher
Lexi Ellermeier (biochemistry and molecular biology) and sophomore first baseman
Elise Oleson (elementary education) also represented the Rams with academic all-district awards.
The Academic All-America Teams will be announced June 17.
To be eligible for all-academic recognition, the nominee must be at least a sophomore in academic and athletic standing, hold a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.50, and have competed in 90 percent of the institution's total contests or started in 66 percent of the total competitions.
