MOUNT VERNON – Cornell's record-setting men's lacrosse defender
Torii Greiskalns has claimed the 2025 NCAA Division III statistical title for caused turnovers per game.
Greiskalns concluded an exceptional senior campaign averaging 3.88 caused turnovers per game, most among Division III players. Kyle Zirn of Roger Williams finished a distant second at 3.17 caused turnovers.
Greiskalns is Cornell's first NCAA statistical champion since volleyball all-American Rory Light (blocks per set) in 2022. He's the only lacrosse player in program history to accomplish the feat.
Greiskalns shattered his own single-season school record with 62 caused turnovers in 2025. The four-time all-conference pick is the program's all-time leader with 175 caused turnovers.
Greiskalns also established a new Cornell standard with 65 career starts over four seasons. He was named Cornell's 2024-25 Paul K. Scott Senior Male Athlete of the Year.
