MOUNT VERNON – Cornell freshman
Kylen Bonner topped the 20-point mark for the second straight game in Saturday's 94-74 Midwest Conference men's basketball loss to Lake Forest inside the Small Athletic and Wellness Center.
Coming off a career-high 29-point outing Wednesday night, Bonner tossed in 22 points against the Foresters (9-5 overall, 4-1 MWC) on efficient 9-of-13 shooting from the field. He also led the Rams (1-13 overall, 0-5 MWC) with five rebounds and handed out two assists.
The Rams ran with high-scoring Lake Forest (87.2 ppg) for the better portion of the first half, which was tied 35-35 with 4:14 to go. The Foresters hit Cornell with a 16-3 run to close the opening half and extended their double-digit lead after intermission.

Jude Weaver accounted for 10 points and three assists.
Caleb Leslie scored nine points,
Joseph Hudson eight.
The Foresters shot 52.2 percent from the floor and made 12 3-pointers. Guard duo Alex Forowycz and Luke Arington combined for 10 threes and 50 points.
Lake Forest owned a 45-28 advantage on the boards and totaled 22 second-chance points.
