ANGOLA, Ind. – Cornell's men's lacrosse team faced a tough test Thursday afternoon, falling 17-1 to Trine at Zollner Stadium.
Sophomore
Kaden Weaver prevented the home team's shutout bid with an unassisted goal with 1:13 left in regulation to put Cornell (2-2) on the scoreboard.
Trine (6-1), which won a school-record 14 games a season ago, attempted 67 shots in the contest, 37 on goal. The Thunder also forced the Rams into 34 turnovers.

Nathan Diveley registered career highs with 17 saves and seven ground balls over 45 minutes.
Elias Notsch worked the final quarter, posting three saves.
Kayden Kuan fired four shots to lead Cornell's attack.
