MOUNT VERNON – Cornell's men's wrestling team has been recognized for excellence on the mat and in the classroom with seven
Division III Scholar All-Americans by the National Wrestling Coaches Association for the 2025-26 season.

Brent Hamm's Rams were also honored as an
NWCA Men's Scholar Top 30 Team for the second year in a row. The Rams compiled a 3.60 team grade point average.
Cornell has fielded 42 NWCA Scholar All-Americans in Hamm's eight seasons at the helm.
This year's honorees include seniors
Jackson Brinker (environmental justice and sustainability),
Austin Wilkins (kinesiology), juniors
Brian Petry (biochemistry and molecular biology),
AJ Parrish (engineering) and freshmen
Owen Adlfinger (business management),
Nolan Howell (biochemistry and molecular biology) and
Truman Folkers (biochemistry and molecular biology).
To be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must carry a 3.2 GPA and meet one of the following athletic criteria: place in the top eight at the regional tournament, or wrestle at least 15 matches with a winning percentage of at least 66.0 percent.
Brinker was named a Scholar All-American for the fourth consecutive season. The heavyweight placed fourth at regionals and finished with a 28-8 record.
Petry and Parrish both gained scholar all-America honors for the second time. Petry led the Rams in wins (30-10 at 165 pounds), placed third at regionals and earned his second consecutive trip to the NCAA Championships. Parrish went 28-9 at 157 and took fifth at the Region VI Championships.
Adlfinger placed eighth in the 149-pound bracket at regionals and posted a 24-22 record in his first collegiate season.
Wilkins was a fourth-place regional finisher at 184. He went 20-10 in his final season.
Howell finished the campaign at 25-10. He was seventh at regionals at 174.
Folkers was among Cornell's wins leaders with a 26-8 record at 133.
