MOUNT VERNON – Cornell senior football players Ben Ephraim (psychological sciences), Silas Heimos (engineering) and Gavin Soukup (elementary education) have been named to the 2026 National Football Foundation Hampshire Honor Society.

The NFF Hampshire Honor Society is chosen annually and comprised of football players from all divisions of the NCAA and NAIA who maintained a cumulative 3.2 grade point average or better throughout their collegiate careers.

Nominated by their respective schools, members must be a senior or graduate player and been a starter or key contributor throughout the 2025 season.

The initiative has honored 23,568 student-athletes since its inception in 2007. Twenty-four players from three Midwest Conference institutions were recognized this season for combined excellence on the field and in the classroom.
