MOUNT VERNON – Senior
Ilsa Jeffery made program history as a
First Team All-Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) selection for the 2026 women's lacrosse season, heading five Cornell players with postseason recognition.
Jeffery was among four defenders chosen to the NACC's 14-player top unit. She became the first Ram to gain first team all-conference honors three times in a career.
The Rams landed a pair of second team picks in sophomore midfielder
Ava Ferencz and freshman defender
Kailey McFarlin. Senior midfielder
Brynn Miroslavich and freshman midfielder
Cassie Clay both received honorable mention.
Jeffery ranked fifth in the NACC in caused turnovers per game (2.38) and stood seventh in ground balls per game (3.75). Her 38 caused turnovers led the team this spring.
Jeffery shattered the program's career record for caused turnovers with 141. She finished No. 2 all-time with 208 ground balls while starting 61 games for the Rams.
Ferencz blossomed into one of the league's most versatile players. She led the NACC with 4.44 ground balls per game, which stands No. 22 nationally. Ferencz scooped 71 ground balls, the third-highest total in a season by a Ram.
Ferencz ranked seventh among NACC players in caused turnovers per game (2.19). Offensively, she tallied a team-high 37 points with 25 goals and 12 assists. Ferencz won a team-best 42 draw controls.
McFarlin made a defensive impact in her first collegiate season. She totaled 39 ground balls and 30 caused turnovers.
Miroslavich was tabbed honorable mention for the second consecutive year. She scored 25 goals while posting 32 ground balls.
Clay enjoyed a fine rookie campaign with 32 points (21 goals), 35 ground balls and 21 draw controls.
Coach
Meredith Meier's Rams finished the season at 5-11 overall, 4-5 in the NACC. They earned the No. 6 seed in the NACC Tournament.
