Meredith Meier's Cornell women's lacrosse team crossed the threshold for the most season wins in program history at Klas Field.
The Rams (8-5, 3-1 in MWLC) secured their eighth win of the year to top the program record of seven wins, established in 2018 (7-8-0) and 2019 (7-10-0).
Both teams combined for eight goals in the fourth as the Rams were able to keep and never surrender their lead even as the Pipers accumulated five goals.
Goalkeeper
Hannah Miech secured three of her 13 saves in the fourth to prevent the Pipers from taking the lead.
Anna Methe led the team with three goals and also had two ground balls, four draw controls and three caused turnovers. Scoring came from six different Rams as
Cece Zanoni moved to 33 goals on the year which leads the team and ranks second in the conference.
Hamline dropped to 1-8 overall, 0-4 in the MWLC.
Coming up – The Rams head to Lake Forest to take on the Foresters Saturday at Farwell Field for a 1 pm start.
