Wright, a three-sport athlete from Topeka, Kan., excelled on the tennis court as an NCAA Division III All-American in doubles. Wright and partner Scott Haymond advanced to the quarterfinals at the 1976 NCAA Championships, leading the Rams to a program-best sixth-place team finish. Wright captured Cornell's first-ever Midwest championship in 1976, winning at No. 1 doubles. He directed the Rams to an undefeated dual season his senior year. Wright was a four-year football letterman and a record holder on the swimming team.
Crawford was a standout distance runner for the Rams, at one point holding seven school records in cross country and track & field. The Boise, Idaho, native placed eighth in the mile at the 2009 NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships to earn all-America honors. Crawford collected four all-Iowa Conference medals on the track. She was a three-time all-IIAC performer and two-time all-region honoree in cross country, where she became the Rams' first NCAA qualifier in 15 years.
LaDew, of Pewaukee, Wis., graduated as Cornell's all-time scoring leader (1,561 points) and still owns program records for 3-pointers made and free throw percentage in a career and season. The three-time all-conference shooting guard guided the team to a historic 2008-09 campaign in which the 21-7 Rams secured the IIAC Tournament title and the program's first NCAA Tournament berth in 15 years. An NABC Scholar All-American, LaDew started 99 consecutive games to close his career.
Marie, of Marion, Iowa, elevated the program to record levels during a decorated career in which she scored 1,441 points, second-most all-time by a Ram. The 2013 all-American center and MWC Player of the Year garnered all-conference status in each of her four seasons and remains Cornell's career leader in made free throws and field goals. A CoSIDA Academic All-American, Marie steered the 2012-13 MWC championship team to a glossy 25-2 mark and the program's first-ever appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
