MOUNT VERNON – Cornell's soccer programs have been recognized for combined performances on the field and in the classroom with nine student-athletes on the
2025 NCAA Division III Academic All-District Teams, selected by the College Sports Communicators.

Nate Grosse's men's team landed six honorees in juniors
Sam Burmeister (engineering),
Erwann Hiernaux (engineering),
Carter Lampe (computer science),
Fox Wight (environmental science and sustainability) and sophomores
Madiou Diallo (undecided) and
Justice Toledo (undecided).
Burmeister earned all-district accolades for the second year in a row.
Coach
Sarah Campbell's women fielded three selections in seniors
Krystin Kamrath (finance),
Gwen Westervelt (elementary education) and sophomore
Eva Plathe (biochemistry and molecular biology).
Kamrath and Westervelt are both three-time honorees.
To be eligible, the nominee must be at least a sophomore in academic and athletic standing, hold a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.50 and have competed in 90 percent of the institution's contests OR started at least 66 percent of the institution's contests.
