Cornell men jump to No. 25 in USTFCCCA national rankings

MOUNT VERNON – The Cornell men's outdoor track & field team has climbed to No. 25 in this week's USTFCCCA Division III national rankings, according to the Track & Field Rating Index (TFRI).
 
The Rams cracked the Top 25 for the first time this season with 67.25 points. This is the program's highest national ranking in the regular season by the TFRI. Cornell finished the 2025 outdoor campaign at No. 21.
 
Cornell currently holds Top 50 performances in four events, led by senior Isaac vanWestrienen who owns the fastest Division III times in both the 5000 (13:53.13) and 10000-meter (28:52.66) races.
 
Junior Jake Bach is ranked No. 25 in the 1500 (3:51.35) and No. 42 in the 5000 (14:30.05).
 
The Rams are the only Midwest Conference team – men or women – ranked in this week's Top 25.
 
Cornell is back in action Saturday for the Fighting Scots Invitational in Monmouth, Ill.
