MOUNT VERNON – Cornell senior third baseman/pitcher
Garrett Roehl has been chosen to the
2026 NCAA Division III Academic All-District Baseball Team, selected by the College Sports Communicators.
Roehl (data science and mathematics) was honored for combined excellence on the field and in the classroom. He started all 38 games for the Rams and made 10 pitching appearances, including six starts on the mound.
To be eligible for all-academic recognition, the nominee must be at least a sophomore in academic and athletic standing, hold a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.50, and have competed in 90 percent of the institution's total contests or started in 66 percent of the total competitions.
The CSC Academic All-America Teams will be announced June 23.
