MOUNT VERNON – Cornell freshmen Carlos Siguenza (FR/Minneapolis, Minn.) and Tory Terbilcox (FR/Waunakee, Wis.) have been named to the 2015 All-Midwest Lacrosse Conference Second Team, while four other Rams received postseason recognition.
Siguenza was chosen for the lone faceoff position on the 14-player second unit. Terbilcox was among four defenders selected on the second team.

Coach Andy Bonasera's Rams fielded three freshmen honorable mention picks in attacker Conor Hollowell (FR/Portland, Ore.), midfielder Michael Paquette (FR/Erie, Colo.) and long-stick midfielder Galbraith Williams (FR/Fairfax, Va.). Freshman midfielder Austin Busse (FR/Prior Lake, Minn.) represented Cornell on the MLC All-Sportsmanship Team.
Siguenza surfaced as one of the top first-year players in the conference. The 5-foot-9, 195-pound midfielder ranked fourth in the MLC in total shots (97), fifth in ground balls (80) and sixth in faceoffs won (109-of-192), for a solid 56.8-percent clip.
Siguenza finished in the league's top-15 with a team-best 25 goals scored. He also distributed five assists for a Ram offense that averaged 6.92 goals per match.

Siguenza was named MLC Offensive Player of the Week March 2 after a seven-point effort (4 goals, 3 assists) in the season opener with Dubuque. Siguenza scored in nine of the 11 matches he played, highlighted by a five-goal performance at Fontbonne. He had four matches with double-digit ground balls.
Terbilcox was the leader of Cornell's back line, starting 12 of 13 matches. The 6-4, 220-pounder finished tied for second in the MLC with 26 caused turnovers.
Terbilcox ranked 18th in the conference with 39 ground balls. He collected a personal-best 11 ground balls in a late-season match with Fontbonne. Terbilcox had a season-high six caused turnovers in a home contest with Calvin.
Hollowell stood third in the MLC with 113 shot attempts. He finished third on the team with 20 goals and 22 points. Hollowell netted a season-high six goals against Fontbonne. He scooped 27 ground balls and won 14 faceoffs.
Paquette led the Rams with 32 points, recording at least one point in nine of the team's final 10 contests. He distributed a team-leading nine assists and tallied 23 goals on 96 attempts. Paquette had five multi-goal matches, including six against Dubuque. He wound up with 35 ground balls.
Williams finished eighth in the league with 70 ground balls, 17 of which came in the season opener. He was second on the team with 19 caused turnovers. Williams, the MLC Defensive Player of the Week March 2, accounted for two goals.
Busse contributed nine goals and six assists on the year. His 15 points ranked fourth on the team. Busse collected 24 ground balls.
The young Rams finished their inaugural season 3-10 overall, 1-5 in the MLC. The team walloped Dubuque, 19-3, in the season opener and also scored a 15-6 nonconference win over Calvin. Cornell registered its first MLC victory, 16-8, on April 18 at Fontbonne.
