Marie was the 6-foot-2 all-American center on Cornell’s most successful women’s basketball team in 2012-13, which marked the Rams’ first season back in the Midwest Conference. The Marion, Iowa native guided the Rams to a record-setting 25-2 campaign, culminating with the program’s first-ever appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
 
The Rams blitzed through the MWC regular season with a 17-1 mark for their first conference championship in 31 years. Cornell claimed the MWC Tournament crown and was awarded hosting rights for the 2013 NCAA Regional. The team celebrated a 76-54 win over St. Scholastica in its NCAA debut and then dropped a 53-52 nail-biter to St. Thomas in the regional final.
 
That senior season, Marie was tabbed MWC Player of the Year, First Team All-Central Region and Fourth Team All-American by D3hoops.com, becoming the first Ram in program history to gain all-America status. The four-time all-conference selection was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-America Third Team and voted Cornell’s Russell W. Landis Award recipient during her final year on the Hilltop.
 
Marie graduated as Cornell’s career scoring leader and currently stands No. 2 with 1,441 points. She holds program records for made field goals (432) and made free throws (367) in a career. As a freshman, Marie set single-season marks for free throws made (129) and free throws attempted (174).
 
Cornell’s 2010 First-Year Female Athlete of the Year ranks No. 3 on the program’s career list in blocked shots (109) and No. 4 in rebounds (712). Marie started 96 of 98 career games for coach Brent Brase.
