LaDew helped transform Cornell men’s basketball into championship caliber as one of the most dead-eye shooters in program history. The Pewaukee, Wis., native became the first Ram to eclipse 1,500 career points and currently ranks No. 3 on the all-time scoring chart with 1,561 points.

LaDew owns school records for 3-pointers made in a career (240) and season (79). The three-time all-conference shooting guard was nearly automatic from the foul line, establishing program marks for free throw percentage in a career (88.1) and season (94.8). LaDew’s 531 career made field goals are fourth-most by a Ram.

The NABC Scholar All-American was a senior captain on the Rams’ historic 2008-09 squad which saw the team capture the Iowa Conference Tournament title with a 58-56 home win over Wartburg. It was Cornell’s only men’s team championship during its previous membership in the IIAC.

The Rams qualified for the NCAA Tournament for the first time in 15 years. Cornell finished with a school-record 21 wins, marking a drastic turnaround from LaDew’s 3-22 team his freshman year.

LaDew started his final 99 games as a Ram – a school record – and is among the program’s all-time Top 10 leaders in 10 statistical categories. He was named Cornell’s 2009 Paul K. Scott Senior Male Athlete of the Year.
