  • While at Cornell, also served eight seasons as assistant men’s basketball coach (1980-88), two seasons as head men’s track and field coach (1979-80) and two seasons as head men’s golf coach (1988-89)

  • Three-year starting center on football team (1965-67)

  • Three-year member on basketball and baseball teams

  • Member of 1966-67 Midwest Conference championship basketball team

  • Coached 10 years collectively at Fredericksburg, English Valleys and Northeast Goose Lake High School
